Nigeria Big Brother - 24 Hour Surveillance TV Show

I feel sorry for this generation, feeding off programmes like Big Brother. For those of you who do not know what Big Brother is, you are not missing anything. Big Brother is a 24-hour reality TV show in which 12 adults are thrown together in a home like animals in a cage, and the viewers, like visitors to a zoo, are meant to observe their every move. These housemates will stay here for 3 months during which they are to compete against each other for a prize of $100,000. Over the period that these 6 men and 6 women are together, they will be evicted from the house one after the other by fellow housemates and by viewers. The last person standing goes home with the prize. Watching over the housemates, like a god, is someone called Big Brother. This fellow, who remains invisible, is apparently also omnipresent and omniscient. He calls the housemates aside from time to time to have a silly chat with them. Disciples of the Big Brother show can expect to view participants using the toilet, taking a shower, taking a bath together, dressing up and even having sex. And we are informed, from the BB Africa website, that the organisers are introducing Karma Sutra (an ancient Indian discipline). This is meant to enable the housemates, in their words, ' conduct promiscuous activities within the walls of the house!".
